Bury Tomorrow have unveiled the first official video from new album Runes.

Runes, the quintet’s third studio album, will land on May 26 via Nuclear Blast. Expect anthems, much like the one below.

“Each song on Runes draws its inspiration from each of the runic symbols they are linked to,” explains frontman Dani Winter-Bates. “Man On Fire is about the struggle of humankind’s sanity in an ever-changing world. The song itself is linked with the Rune for Man/Humankind and follows lyrically the ideas of a figure fighting their own thoughts and their fears getting the better of them. We worked closely with Sitcom Soldiers to visually bring the ideas with the song to life. We couldn’t be happier with the way it came out!”

Lose your shit to Man On Fire immediately:

“Runes is the album we have always wanted to make and we cannot wait for everyone to hear it,” says BT frontman Dani Winter-Bates. “Progressing from Union of Crowns, we’ve tried to capture our favourite era of metalcore whilst blending the nuances of what make the genre so great today. It’s a faster, more aggressive album, but it still sounds like us, we couldn’t be prouder of it!”

The album will be accompanied by a run of UK dates at some pretty intimate venues. Check the band out on the following dates:

MAY
21: STOKE Sugarmill
22: EDINBURGH Studio 24
23: LIVERPOOL Academy 2
28: OXFORD Academy 2
29: CARDIFF Solus 2
30: PLYMOUTH White Rabbit
31: KINGSTON Peel
