Judas Priest front man Rob Halford is set to feature in the upcoming episode of everyone’s favourite family animated series “The Simpsons“, set to air this Sunday, 5th of Jan on Fox. The episode will also star Will Arnett, director Judd Apatow, and his frequent costars Leslie Mann, Paul Rudd and Seth Rogen.

Matt Selman who is the the shows executive producer, told Entertainment Weekly that in the episode, titled “Steal This Episode” (Sound like they should have hired System Of A Down for this one.), Homer becomes annoyed with movie theatres, so Bart teaches him how to download movies illegally. He then goes on to screen them in his garden for everyone in Springfield to see. “Even though Homer is stealing, he’s doing it for the community, he’s doing it out of the goodness of his heart,” says Selman.

And of course there’s an annoyingly overzealous FBI director in charge of anti-piracy to screw up Homers day. Halford sings a parody of the Judas Priest hit “Breaking The Law“.

Given a chance to act again, Halford said that he would certainly consider it. “I never say no to anything,” he said. “I think if you do, you don’t know what you’ve missed. I think you should try everything in life. If it doesn’t work out, then at least you can say you’ve tried it. There’s nothing worse than having regrets. If life affords you an opportunity and you can go for it, then you should.”

Since 1974, Judas Priest has been one of heavy metal’s most successful bands, issuing such all-time classic albums as 1980’s ‘British Steel,’ 1982’s ‘Screaming for Vengeance,’ and 1990’s ‘Painkiller,’ and such arena-rocking anthems as “Breaking the Law,” “Living After Midnight,” and “You’ve Got Another Thing Comin’.”

However, Priest’s influence goes far beyond their music. They were the first metal band to embrace the ‘leather biker look,’ a fashion that has since become synonymous with the musical genre. Additionally, Halford’s powerful four-and-a-half octave vocal range and the twin guitar harmonies of Downing and Tipton have been ‘studied’ by countless metal bands in Priest’s wake.

The episode is set to air Sunday, Jan. 5 (8:00-8:30 PM ET/PT) on FOX.
